Queen's University hosted its 7th Annual Bond Comp Lifeguard Competition with a record 19 teams in attendance. New club entrants from Western University and Club Aquatic du Sud-Ouest in Montreal joined the competition as well, drawing new competitors from hundreds of kilometres away. The University of Waterloo took the top two overall places, with the Lifesaving Club of Markham rounding out the top three. Competition results are now available, with updated U-League results to come in the next few days. John Wyatt was elected the Ontario Lifesaving Society's Athlete Representative in October 2014. As Athlete Rep he sits on the Lifesaving Society's Sport Council at the Ontario Branch, and the Athletes Committee at the National Branch. His mandate is to represent the views of athletes in Ontario and vote on their behalf. His goal is to improve communication between athletes, their clubs, and the Society.
