The University of Ottawa won its fifth consecutive Ontario University Lifeguard Championships at the University of Guelph. The team named "Like a Gee Six" with Sarah Hebb, Patricia Moulton, Emile Hashem and Stephen Keelty took first place, while the team "Paging Dr. Gee" with Adam Jones-Delcorde, Dominique Imano, Caroline O'Keefe and Robyn Stevens took second place. The University of Ottawa took the top two spots at the competition for the second consecutive year, while the University of Waterloo came third. Congratulations to the University of Ottawa. John Wyatt was elected the Ontario Lifesaving Society's Athlete Representative in October 2014. As Athlete Rep he sits on the Lifesaving Society's Sport Council at the Ontario Branch, and the Athletes Committee at the National Branch. His mandate is to represent the views of athletes in Ontario and vote on their behalf. His goal is to improve communication between athletes, their clubs, and the Society.
